This week’s Tee Jam was going to be a completely different vibe. I had recorded some other lyrics on this track and I was almost about to start filming some sort of visual, but my heart wasn’t into. It is interesting how music and art forces you to be honest. In those moments, I wasn’t honest with myself or how I was feeling. Over the past couple of weeks or so, I’ve noticed that some people feel the need to share their doubts about and on me. I don’t believe it to be completely ill-intended, but their energy was negative and discouraging. As I am getting older, I trying to learn how to better block out other people’s negativity and energy that does not add to my own or feed my spirit.
